Yes! After a break lasting a year and a half and a “guest episode” this Oppo series is back!
We all know that a person’s car choice will often reflect on their personality. How about we try to do it the other way? I’ll give you a description of a person and you’ll try to come up with a perfect car for them.
You may post cars that are reasonably within reach for the described person or ones that aren’t, but seem like they would suit them perfectly (although I’d prefer you stick to the former choice). Also, try to stick to mass produced cars. I know that hot rods are cool, but I’d rather you keep it within reason.

Person 1:
A man in his early 50’s, a retired air force pilot (achieved the rank of captain), former fighter pilot who now flies for a commercial airline. He lives with his wife in the countryside around 250 miles from the large city with his home airport. He lives in the aforementioned city throughout the week and drives home for weekends. He and his wife (who is a homemaker) had one child and adopted two more, but they’re all adults by now. He earns very good money, both from his military pension and his airline salary. In his free time he either stays at his ranch, goes hunting, or flies around on his ultralight trike. He can drive a manual. While he has the ability and knowledge to service cars, he doesn’t really want to do it anymore, especially since he doesn’t get much free time at home. His interest in cars is slightly above average.
Person 2:
A 25 year old woman who works in a school as an art teacher. Until recently she worked in a small town school within walking distance of her house, but switching jobs forced her to commute 10 miles to a different small town. She has absolutely no interest in cars, and while she took driving lessons in the past she always lost interest before even taking an exam. She only got her licence and her first car to be able to drive to her new job. She takes no pleasure in driving and being new to it she’s not very good. Because she lives with her parents in an old house they have little driveway space and only a small garage.

There are too many splendid choices for Captain Countryside, and I don’t know him well enough to choose. What kind of books does he read? As for the young woman, get her a used Miata with an automatic. They’re the easiest car in the world to drive.
